Floor Sensor
10K3 Floor sensor (5 meter). Part available with a high quality thermistor element or platinum element. The sensor is housed in a plastic cap.
The remote floor probe sensor should be installed by an engineer in conjunction with any guidelines for the equipment which it is to be connected to. As a general rule, screened cable should be used to connect the sensor to the controller. Please note that this sensor is not suitable for use with mains voltage. The installation of this cable should be treated as a signal cable and to be kept away from objects that may radiate interference.

Installation
The remote floor probe sensor should be installed by an engineer in conjunction with any guidelines for the equipment which it is to be connected to. As a general rule, screened cable should be used to connect the sensor to the controller. Please note that this sensor is not suitable for use with mains voltage. The installation of this cable should be treated as a signal cable and to be kept away from objects that may radiate interference.
When the sensor is used within the floor it should be suitably mechanically protected to ensure it does not become damaged. It should also be situated in the floor that most accurately reflects the temperature in the area wishing to be measured. The sensor should be kept clear from other sources of heat that it should not be measuring. Consideration should be given to the ability of removing the probe after the floor has been laid if there is a fault with the probe.
