Often the in-room control of an HVAC system becomes an argument of ‘Form vs Function’; Polar Bear have helped us remove those blockers with a beautiful control option, whilst offering the technological power which means we can use their products for as much or as little integration as required. The intuitive UX means that it is suitable for all rooms, whilst the dual-zone technology offers an elegant solution to en-suite bathroom controls that might not have been possible due to ‘wet-zone’ restrictions. The integration of an intelligent lighting control keypad allows for a sleek solution to the thermostats placement on-wall, if the control area is aesthetically demanding or congested.

“Having integrated directly with Smart Thermostats and FCU Interfaces, and on the other end with fully deployed BMS systems in the past, Polar Bear’s Eco system has filled a chasm in the industry. It allows for a dependable frame worked solution, that gives enough flexibility for most projects. For True Home Automation, you need control over all aspects of HVAC, with the correct interlocks, and the ability for the end user to understand exactly what is happening throughout the property, without this all we are doing is creating “extension” of the end-users’ fingers, Polar Bear, allows for a holistic solution, providing a one stop shop, to control Heat Sources, Towel Rails, and FCUs and then bring these together with the correct interlock and management of Cooling or Heating demand in the space.

Before Polar Bear, we would have not considered to getting involved in this “space”. It has enabled us to provide a tactile interface for the end user, that is also aesthetically pleasing. Just leave a sample on the table in a design meeting and it never fails to turn’s heads. Both Polar Bear and RGB, have a made sure to consider the control landscape, and have used BacNet to make sure the Eco System can be easily and reliably be integrated with all the leading control systems.
